I was a bachelor for the weekend a few weeks ago. Friday evening I spent several hours on my laptop. Here’s a rundown to the staggering skills of Matisyahu. Make sure you turn on the speakers of your computer.
We used to work at a children’s home in Little Rock, AR. We lived with and cared for up to 9 pregnant teens at a time. One of the unique things about our work there was meal planning and preparation. Amanda did most of the cooking and all of the grocery shopping. I would often prepare breakfast to give Amanda a break.
Here’s a video to give you an idea of what breakfast in our family looked like from January 2007 until August of 2008. Keep an eye out for the little munchkin helping me cook.
I made this time-lapse video during the Promise House Era. During the fist part, I’m working with Garage Band. Then, you’ll see me touching up some photographs I took shortly after the arrival of the much anticipated Nikon D40, like this one. I’m using flickr and picnik.
If you like to create and you use a mac, then Gawker will knock your socks off. This free application captures still frames to produce time-lapse videos. Here’s the website write-up:
Gawker is an application for Mac OS X that creates time-lapse movies using a webcam. Images from your camera can be shared, allowing other users to record your image stream. Streams can also be combined to create a time-lapse movie with up to four locations side-by-side.
