Willie Nelson rocked the rock. It took some squeezing to get close to the stage. Thankfully, my bodyguard, Andrew Aldridge, had my back. He came in real handy. Especially the time the guy told me I was going to meet God if I stood in front of him.

. . . I’ll be hanging out with this guy. Well, maybe not hanging out in the conventional sense of the phrase. But, we will be at the same place at the same time. RiverFest here we come!

Sadly, Sooie didn’t qualify for the championship round to take place tomorrow. She was just a few inches short of getting a shot at the title.  She and Andrew did great, but it wasn’t quite enough. She’ll get’em next year!

Kazoobie Kazoo did a show at River Fest. It was pretty sweet. Everyone got a Kazoo. He knew I could rock out on the Kazoo so Kazoobie called me on stage to have a Kazoo-off. I won. Just barely, but I got him on Fur Elise.

That’s him on the left. He’s trying to Kazaam me. But, I lay the smack down with a crazy E minor blues riff.

I’ll be broadcasting live from River Fest in downtown Little Rock this weekend. Be checking in for photos, videos, and commentary on Arkansas’ biggest shindig!

Of particular interest is the SRS National Dock Jumping Crown Championship. Only 15 dogs in the U.S. qualify for the Crown Championship and Sooie, my brother-in-law’s dog, is one of them. Pretty sweet.
