| July 29th, 2009Back in 2005 we took the Myers Briggs personality instrument (they told us not to call it a test, because it’s not). It’s interesting to look back. For those of you not familiar with the Myers Briggs and would like to check it out, here is a link: http://www.personalitypathways.com/type_inventory.html
Here were our results (drum roll please):
Ryan = ISFJ
I – Intraverted
S – Sensory: this means I’m empirical. I want to taste it, touch it, see it, before I believe it.
F – This apparently means that I’m more feelings oriented than thinking . . . who knew?
J – This basically means that I like things orderly. I like to control my surroundings.
Amanda = ENFP
E – Extraverted
N – Intuitive, she can sniff things out, without solid evidence.
F – See above.
P – Go with the flow, whatever happens, it’s all good.

| July 23rd, 2009Chris and Dorothy Wilson moved from Mid-America student housing to Chatanooga, TN a few weeks back. I know this for sure because I helped them load a 28′ Penske truck and then a 14′ Penske truck. We were blessed with amazing weather (85 and overcast) for Memphis in July.
Transition, like I mentioned before, is a part of seminary life. Folks are here for a few years in preparation to be somewhere else. However, just because this place isn’t permanent (not that any place on earth is) doesn’t mean that deep relationships and roots aren’t developed.
One of the more amazing things about the Wilson family is that they had five kids all under five years old! Dorothy is definitely a super mom. Chris graduated from MABTS with a Master of Missiology. You can listen to him tell a story in Dr. May’s Chronological Bible Storying class here.
Chris will be under a missions mentor for a year in Chatanooga. Then, they plan on seeking appointment with the International Mission Board.
