We (Amanda, Sophia, Samuel, Gingy, Popi, and myself) fed the geese breakfast at Shelby Farms this morning. Honk!

Eye-Fi

My wife is awesome. She surprised me with an Eye-Fi SD card. Basically, it wirelessly uploads your digital photos (as you take them) to your computer (and photo sharing site, i.e. flickr).

It’s amazing.

Really.

I take a picture of Samuel, walk over to my laptop, and it’s there. You can read more about it here.

The thing I like about it is that it saves me tons of time. So, I have more time to read books with Sophia, wrestle with Samuel, and, of course, take photos.

Back in the saddle I am. I’m teaching two classes (English Grammar and Writing) at Crichton this semester.

It still amazes me that God gave me this job. [A special thanks to the real live college prof.]

My favorite part about teaching at Crichton? Probably just getting to know the students. I’m especially excited because I have two international students this semester (Mali and Mexico).

The Fall

| January 29th, 2009

The snow day yesterday was a blast. We’ve got some pretty killer hills around The Village, so we strapped the toddlers to storage lids and sent them flying! Here’s the account of the showdown between Micah and Jace. Notice Micah’s (right) face in the first frame and how it changes as his nemesis bites the snow.

Should Have Gotten Milk

| January 28th, 2009

I knew we should have gotten milk today . . .

Oh, well. We do have lots of formula. If I mix it and put it in some cereal, I probably won’t even be able to tell the difference. Or, I could always milk the hamsters.

He L-O-V-E-S this thing. And, because he loves it, so do we.

Copeland Family

| January 26th, 2009

Here’s a shot of Adam Ray, Kimberly, and Adam Copeland. They are some of our best friends.

Adam introduced me to my wife. He also took her to his senior prom. We had the chance over Christmas break to eat some pancakes with them at IHOP.
