I´m in Cuzco. I flew down yesterday to get things ready for a vision team from 9th & O Baptist Church in Louisville. I´m excited about this trip because we are going to use all public transportation. I spent the day yesterday checking out the bus and combi routes.

(Plaza de Armas, Cuzco)
The team is resting at the moment. They had a long night in the airport last night.

(Our mode of transport)
I also had a lot of time to read, think, and pray yesterday. I think I needed that. I´m not sure what the future holds . . . but Jesus showed me about trusting him and obeying him despite how I feel, despite what other people say, and despite how long it takes him.

I didn’t mention it on here, but I’ve been getting ready for the Nike 10K that happens every year in South America. Nike puts on the race in like 10 latin countries. It was last Sunday. Lots of fun! Click here to see my results and me crossing the finish line (I’m the white guy with dark red shorts).

Things are moving fast here in Lima! We’ll be in Peru for two more months before we head back to the good ole’ USofA. But, before we head back we’ve got plenty to keep us busy!
Sophia is doing great. Growing like a weed! Check out the flickr site for TONS of pictures of her.
We’re getting ready for a retreat this weekend. We’ll be taking some of our translators to Chosica just outside of Lima to have some fun and focus on what God is doing in our lives.
At the end of the month, I’ll be taking a group from Kentucky to Cuzco.

We had a costume party with our English students last weekend. Apparently, Peruvians aren’t big on dressing up because only ONE came in costume! Que Palta!
Anyway, I was a blade of grass, Amanda was an Inka Cola, Sarah was a greekess, and Sophia was a Bunny Wabbit.
