Todos Vivimos el Fiebre del Mundial

“Everyone has World Cup Fever”

. . . at least in South America. And despite the fact the Peru is not even in the world cup it is probably the most talked about topic in Lima right now. EVERYONE is watching. EVERYONE has there team they are cheering for.

Me. I am loving it. I learned to appreciate soccer four years ago when I lived with a Korean and the World Cup was held in Korea. There is nothing like waking up at 2a.m to a Korean screaming his head off at the television!

Of course, my team is the U.S. They have a chance to make it past the preliminaries . . . but we have to beat Ghana Thursday.

Latin America is definitely making its mark - Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico, Uruguay, and of course the defending world champions, Brazil.

Ghana is a long shot, but we can hope.

That was some blow by an elbow on Saturday. Nice pic of the aftermath!
