| December 31st, 2008My little brother Ethan just packed up his VW Bus and moved to Asheville. He will be finishing his senior year of high school and living with Jessica, our sister.
Ethan is a mandoliner (one who plays the mandolin). You can hear him in action right here. Just watch the video below. He’s throwin’ down on the mandolin while I play the quijada. Bonus points to anyone who knows what a quijada is.

He’s really good! I had never heard of a quijada until our mission trip to Guatemala. Its a pretty cool percussion instrument. We got to see them being made by some of the locals in the area we were passing out Bibles. They make some amazing things there.
