Capture Arkansas
| May 22nd, 2008This is a great idea. I’ve been spending way too much time digging and nixing on the Capture Arkansas website. Have you heard about it?
Here’s the deal. Arkansas Democrat Gazette is putting out a book (and DVD) of photographs of Arkansas. And, anyone can be in the book. You just have to submit your photographs and see what happens. Even if your photos don’t get voted in, you get to help shape the book by voting on other folks’ photos.
You might have noticed a new widget to the right (go ahead, look). That’s a link to my photos. Give me some love if you like them (go ahead, click). Maybe I’ll make it in. And, if you submit some photos, leave me a comment so I can go vote for yours.
I am sooooo with you about spending way too much time on there, but how cool it would be get published in a home based book. Some of them are exceptional photos and my poor photos are just snapshots I take when Richard and I go places. Fun stuff. Love your photos of Sophia…and the skateboard stuff is cool.

Thanks Ryan! I’m overwhelmed by some of the photos by the true photographers they are exceptional. My dad an avid National Geographic reader person said he wanted to see that one with the two rainbows in the waterfall in their book. I think its also cool that no matter what you’ll at least have one picture on the DVD..yay! Haha!
