My Little Brother

| January 21st, 2008

This is my little brother, Ethan. He rocks the house as you can see. And, usually, he’s rockin’ it with a mandolin.

Mandolin music is good. I’m amazed at anyone with the gift of “guitar”.

Oh, how I would love to learn how to play mandolin. Guitars are too big for my hands and I always thought the cute little mandolin would fit me better.

Susan » It is good. My little bro is getting pretty good. He’s taking lessons and all. I’ll let you know when he’s playing at Alltel.

Leann » You should get one! I think they’re kind of pricey though.

  5. Leann Says:

Well, my husband has four guitars (two acoustic and two electric) and I told him no more guitar stuff until he buys me an electric piano (we had to sell mine when we moved b/c we were tired of moving it and it was over 20 years old)…so maybe some day I’ll get a mandolin, but not any time soon.

My dad’s nephew plays in a small band in Jonesboro for fun. I guess its a good outlet from his lawyer job on the weekends. I can’t wait until my parents move down so I can have my piano back. I know it misses me. I think everyone should take some sort of lessons musically at least once in their lifetime.

Leann » When my brother bought his mandolin, he walked out of the store and if fell out of the case and broke in half. No kidding. Happily, the store owner was gracious enough to replace it on the spot.

  8. Leann Says:

Oooh, that would be heart-breaking! But cool store for replacing it. Hooray!
